What the future holds
- Physics will definitely play a big part in our future, not only with teleportation but with invisibility as well
- Michio Kaku, a theoretical physicist, believes that we could have invisibility in 10 years. As he states: "However, "we may have invisibility within 10 years," he said prior to going on stage. "At Duke University and the Imperial College of London, a proof of principle was demonstrated just last year showing we may be able to make an object invisible."
- This has little to do with teleportation, but it demonstrates that if we will be able to make things go invisible in 10 years, then we can do pretty much anything including teleportation.
- Researchers in the Netherlands have discovered that Quantum teleportation of information is now possible. They have only tried teleporting quantum information a distance of ten feet, but conceivably it means that larger objects can be transported even longer distances.
- There is nothing in the law of physics that prevents humans from being able to teleport from place to place in the near future.
